PLASTISOL MELTERS WITH STIRRERS
These melters are heated with convection heating elements which surround the stainless liner holding the plastisol. The material is therefore heated evenly thru the entire heating process. The tank is fully insulated and energy efficient. The stirrer and heating elements are easily removed for service. All models include a heated drain valve and a paddle propeller with silicone rubber side wipers.
Temperature is controlled with an accurate digital thermostat with a high limit setting. The thermostat displays set point and current temperature.
Model MU60 shown with STR1800 stirrer designed to stir high-viscocity plastisol during heat up to 450F. The wiper-type propeller keeps the compound from charring on the wall of the melter.
